In March, The Watercress Way was delighted to announce a competition sponsored by Jude’s Ice Cream for primary school children to design a poster about The Watercress Way.

In conjunction with Worthys Conservation Volunteers we are doing conservation work at Worthy Down Halt, SO21 2RR.

The trustees of the Watercress Way celebrated their 3rd annual event to advertise the use, ecology and heritage of the route based on two disused railway lines and ancient sheep droves.

Due to a clash of dates the walk we advertised in Alresford has been cancelled.

We are delighted to announce that we have almost completed putting up the signs for the entire route.

Although some of us have volunteered or led teams of conservation volunteers in the past, we haven't had a special The Watercress Way Volunteer team- until now!

On Sunday 3rd December we met up for a walk from the Car Park of The Bush at Ovington, Nr Alresford.

We have identified an exciting new project for The Watercress Way. We plan to open up the old railway line at Sutton Scotney.
