The Watercress Way Conservation Activity Day on Thursday 22 August 2019

We would be delighted if you could join us at The Watercress Way Activity Day at the platforms at Worthy Down Halt on Thursday 22nd August at 10.00.We aim to clear some of the vegetation to allow the wild flowers to flourish, litter pick and present some of our ecological and railway heritage. We have our own tools – hand saws , loppers, rakes etc.It should be fun and you don’t have to have any previous experience. You need to wear suitable clothing such as trainers, trousers and long sleeved shirts and gloves if possible  – no bare legs or arms as there could be some scratchy plants. All children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.9.
